Low Duration are Debt Category mutual funds that select bonds/debt for investment such that average maturity (remaining) period for portfolio is between 6 to 12 months (Macaulay duration). Shorter duration funds may provide lower returns but are lesser risky to interest rate changes.
These funds are good alternative to Bank Deposits.
